We went and saw an exhibition by Augustine D�allava and he had made beautiful ladders as part of abstract compositions. I used a variety of ladders as another sculpture and in recycling that I was able to use the ladder for this piece. I have made quite a few pieces using ladders as part of the composition and it reminded me of the feeling as a child that if you just got on the roof you could get to the moon. I like pieces that aspire to something and have a positive message so I couldn�t resist this piece
