This is the next in my girls and rocks series.done in Oct Nov 2013.They sort of keep going away faster than I can make them…I developed this lass from a Ballet pose but she doesn’t look like a ballet girl… rather just a “normal” girl enjoying every aspect of “life” . The red shoes reflect a small piece I did a few years ago and it just adds to the vibrancy ( with echoes of Dorothy from the Wizard of oz).The broken concrete in her dress has the effect of not all fitting together and making the heavy material seem quite light and airy. As I explained to a few people I am not much of a mans man and cant talk about footy, cars and such things but I do love making my girl representations ,,, flowing “fabric” and hair….grace and spirit is something to be appreciated.
