This piece was an extension of the idea of using offcuts as in "above the chaos"... I liked the idea of a pair of people and landscape extracted from the earth ... and like "above the chaos" they leave the busyness and chaos behind... they dont look upset...It reminded me of the samples geologists get from drilling into the earth and although mine is a cone I think the image is close.This piece also went to the Ficifolia art show
