I was given a set of quite beautiful and worthy books (literary) from a school library where they had not been read (or touched!)  Old technology I guess. I did find it hard initially to “damage” them to make sculptures but I overcame the years of people telling me not to damage a book (I have very dirty hands usually). Anyway, this idea developed possibly from seeing ideas on Instagram of illustrations I had the idea of trying to cut a window into the book and this is how I solved it. I always feel a good book shows you new ideas and places and again it seems a fitting allegory.
