I was given a set of quite beautiful and worthy books (literary) from a school library where they had not been read (or touched!)  Old technology I guess. I did find it hard initially to “damage” them to make sculptures but I overcame the years of people telling me not to damage a book (I have very dirty hands usually). Anyway, this idea developed possibly from seeing ideas on Instagram of illustrations.  I was going to call it dive into a book but with the mirror I felt that it suggested that we all discover bits of ourselves when reading… or add to our growing self-image.
