I have lots of these scale shapes from when I do dragonfly wings. I can use them on mermaids, fish  tortoises, knights etc. I had a sketch of a “catfish” in my book and the time seemed right to give him some life. Probably about ½ each but it was fun to cover the cut out shape with scales and see him emerge.
