I saw an illustration that had a character offset and as I was working on vases at the time the two ideas joined. It took me a while to make a couple but I was happy with the result. One of the flowers uses fleur de lis shapes that came to me as cut outs from a laser cutter somewhere. I hadn’t thought how to use them up to now but they add to the general composition
