I made the base for this piece not knowing what would sit on it. I had been looking at other people’s work on Instagram and there was a lady that was making forms with clay that reminded me where I had started in making metal sculptures ( using 10mm rod to create pictures). Anyway I started on this form and it has three layers. The black burned hedge and the silver forest in the middle. The character is obviously aiming to get there too.
