I bought some anodized aluminium wire a while ago from Zart art as the colours are so vibrant and although I didn’t know what I would use it for I knew it would be used somewhere. I had just recently made the” birds fly over the rainbow “piece and I thought to do more spirals and swirls and these suggested feathers. I can’t weld aluminium but I was also interested in turning some forms from my wood pile. This has created a nice combination of colour shape and welded forms .( a surely imaginative bird  but fun!)
