I was looking through a magazine and saw a simple flower form. I had made a few in the past but not recently . I made the petal shapes and based them around a wheel rim and bent them to give the flower more interest. The filling in of each petal used up more of my offcuts and the mounting of the piece( so it would stand) provided a simple structural problem. I do like the mix of simplicity and complexity… sort of like a flower!
