I have made a few leaf sculptures over the years and this is the latest. I like how some leaves skeletonize themselves so you only have a tracery of lines. I also wanted to use my plasmacut off cuts to suggest a decaying leaf or maybe an eaten leaf and I do like the way that this has developed. The form of the leaf is still positive… as is nature..
