I did a bird with similar feathers a while ago, inspired by another artists prints. I also recently noticed another metal artist using weathered timber as her backgrounds to her mainly plasma cut signs. As I have a wonderful collection of interesting timber I thought to make the cloud from spalted liquid ambar to provide both a nice design and a lovely pattern in the timber
