I have been looking at some of lynnmuir wooden figures which she does spectacularly, painting designs on the pieces of wood to show wonderful interactions. They are sort of similar to my small characters and I was interested in doing pieces of a larger scale with possible expressions. These are all of a type and this one obviously wants a hug. I was in Aldi the other day and I misheard the girl in the next line asking the customer “would you like a catalogue with that”… I heard “would you like a cuddle with that”….I would probably say yes!.
