I often have odd bits of metal lying around on my bench. This started with a cut off ½ tube. I vaguely thought of making it into an echidna but I had done a few of them and it wasn’t anything new. I did like it rolling and it suggested a boat and it developed happily from there. I did like the positive and negative waves and the small movement of the boat inspired the name. Just a bit of fun…. But that’s what I give myself permission to do!
