I was working at making another leaf form and it was quite a nice size. I also had a wonderful old textured fence post in the shed and the two pieces seemed appropriate for each other. The bird form which can almost be overlooked was meant to be just another element in an ecosystem which related to life, movement, age, recycling and different materials. It made a sort of sense to me!
