I have quite a few bits of rusted metal that I have discovered from rummaging in the pile. It seemed a good idea to use this pitted metal for an appropriate purpose so I decided to make a series of semi flat animals, a cat a dog and an elephant, They really are quite simple but it takes a bit to clean up the rust, cut out the shapes and weld together. They all seem to have a bit of personality and the pitting of the surface looks quite good.. to me anyway!
