I have been trying to tidy up the shed ( really a pointless never-ending task) and I came upon these small seed pods I had collected at Herring Island in Melbourne attracted by the complexity and rugged beauty. What to use them in was the next question. I had been looking at another sculptors work who often uses these bowl/c shapes and the idea of combining  the two things seemed interesting at least. What deep and meaningful message have I got from it? Well nothing really but I do like the contrast in materials and textures and certainly seeds do bode for new life!
