I was looking through Instagram, scrolling , scrolling, scrolling when I saw a hanging ceramic chime. It occurred to me I hadn’t made a musical piece in a while so there was a scruffy looking aluminium porthole type thing in the pile and also a bit of cut off spring. I cleaned them both up and developed a joining device and added the bird as a purely aesthetic element. Maybe it makes a tone too but the others certainly do.
