I have just completed two characters using river pebbles as part of their clothing and I was left with quite a few pebbles that were too small for the mesh I had. There was this lovely right angled part of a farm implement in the pile and I had the idea of using it for the base of a vase with mesh covering the sides. I added extra bars to the mesh and used my small pebbles. It came out quite well I felt and it was good to recycle a piece from the pile and do something that extended my use of river pebbles.
