People often give me old cutlery and there have been all sorts of metalworkers making birds from such material. I have done a few but I sort of don’t like to do what others have done. However I did see a lovely illustration on Instagram of something in this form and I decided to adapt it to a cutlery bird. It seems so abstract and such a contrast between the old wheel rim and the shiny stainless steel that it has quite a quality.
