I have been going through some of my treasures and found a series of pieces of Mallee root that I used once to make boxes. I do love the wonderful rugged texture of a root from a gum tree in the mallee. In this case I used it to make hills and tree foliage to make another form of mallee landscape. Yet another twist to words but it seems to interest me.
