I was making bird forms out of pieces of pipe and I had made three with the idea of mounting them on a branch form for outside. I saw another design of an abstracted head and my brain decided that they would go well together. I was going to use all 3 birds but it sort of  seemed to overwhelm the face form. Once the one bird was in place the title suggested itself.
