I have a box where offcuts of round rod are kept. Everything has a use if you want it to so I have just added to this box for years, I decided that I would” weld it all together” which is sort of a way of tidying up. I did a very basic sketch but the idea was a circle and that seemed a bit too dull so I thought to add stones into a centre column. It took about 5 days as the welder kept getting too hot to hold so I would do a bit then go and do something else then do some more etc. No bones were broken!
