I always look over at the cows in the next paddock( it doesn’t really have a door!) Sometimes they are sitting contentedly and other times there are a mix of poses. I did this sketch enjoying the distance shown  and I was interested in suggesting shade on the cows sides. Always looking to improve and I was happy with the result. The base is a piece of manna gum I have had for a while and I like the chainsaw mark in it and the suggestion of an earth paddock.
