I saw an illustrator draw trees with groups of circles and I thought the idea might be appropriate to a sort of landscape series I was doing. I cut up a series of tube pieces, roughly the same depth, and added some copper tube into the mix. I was reasonably content with how it worked and it also gave me an idea of doing more scraggly gum type trees using small offcuts… to be continued! .
