I have quite a few bit of really interesting wood. Every now and then I cut off a few slices to see what it looks like. I had done this with these pieces and they sat on the saw bench for about 2 weeks as I enjoyed them and wondered what I could do with them. The answer arrived when I cut out the small birds and I added a couple of bars from an oven shelf. The combination works well and the wood is shown off to a good degree
