I have been watching this horrific conflict between israel and Hamas and it is sickening. I am so glad we are not in a war zone. My character sort of developed from trying to use offcuts from some mesh on my bench and the addition of the “eyes” gave it a very haunted expression. The idea of either Hamas doing its attack and the Zionists in israel retaliating in such out of proportion ways both are very wrong and its always the innocents that get hurt.
