A friend gave me a collection of old knitting needles, and I wasn’t sure what material they were. I decided they were an alloy of aluminium meaning I couldn’t weld them but I could insert them into a wooded ball. This covid sort of design suggested its own name and it has a sort of sputnick, plant seed sort of beauty..Another reinterpretation of words and sort of fun
