I had a sketch in the sketchbook of an outline of a ballet pose and I was going to do it all in wire. I didn’t have access to the welder at that time so I wondered whether I could make it as a plasmacut. I was happy with the result and the line variations give it an interesting quality. I do like trying to capture elements of grace and beauty in my work … as I cant get them in my movements!
