I saw an illustrator do a version of a chicken sort of like this and I hadn’t really considered the shape as chickenish. I did the basic form and added to it in my own way and this is the result. The similarity of shape of the chicken to the egg pleases me … and seeing that is where they come from it sort of amuses me that I hadn’t made the connection before. Saying that it still is quite abstract but it does have a chickenness about it.
