I sometimes just start making and see where it leads. I have done a few sculptures using these sort of ½ ovals and they are all different. I do like the contrast between sides and the fact there are similarities as well as differences. Also it isn’t neat and symmetrical and that sort of adds to the theme. The big circle was the base of a gas bottle and had sat in the pile for a bit but it seemed to be both a shelter and a unifying piece and although I did toy with it being placed differently it is just fine there unifying and defining differences.
