I had the idea for hearts crossing and again using recycled metal. As it developed it suggested that abase form ( from an old gas bottle ) would help. With it raised it didn’t take much to feel that dangling hearts would be fun and it sort of developed like a chess piece or a prop from Alice in wonderland. I do like the heart form and I have used it throughout my work over the years. Rarely are they this elaborate but I do like to make things different from what I have previously made.
