I often sit with my sketchbook when I am watching TV, sometimes to take notes sometimes to capture ideas. We watched the royal variety performance at the end of 2021 and at the very end Kate duchess something or other was greeting the performers and I noted her earring. I did a sketch of sort of what it looked like but already I was thinking of using a similar form to create a big sculpture, the last for 2021. I think it turned out quite delightfully so thanks Kate!
