I did my big version of “mother and child” but originally it was going to have three figures. I did like the idea so I redid it as a small piece and hoped to get a bit of personality into the body language of each figure. I think it works quite well. Language is interesting though and in looking for an appropriate image to put with the writing, the outing has lots of other meanings as well as the trip out. Still its what I would call it so here it is...
