There are so many photos of girls with flowers in their hair.I was inspired by a lovely photo of Evelyn Nesbit, a turn of the last century showgirl and actress. I guess I also hark back to the old 60’s song San francisco ( flowers in your hair) but I was making a range of flowers and this piece seemed and interesting combination of materials and forms. The girl looks nothing like Evelyn but the inspiration works fine!
