I had a big box of assorted screws and nails and I was sorting them and trying to figure ways of using them. I developed two pieces using a grid idea and they both went away fairly quickly. I did like the randomness and complexity of the pieces so it seemed appropriate to do another in the series. ( I still have tons of screws and bolts) . This one is using the screws etc as pattern on a dress and initially she was a bit blocky but I changed it so as to reflect the movement of the character. I can’t dance or at least not as freely as this but I guess I can in my metal dreams!
