At one stage I collected quite a few of the gum nuts from the ficifolia trees. I used them on tables I made as decoration beside cut out leaves. I still had a few around and it appealed to turn a ball from English ash and then add the gumnuts with metal as sort of orbiting the ball. Just a nice form I guess!
