My daughter captured some wonderful rusty pieces from my pile a few years ago. She gave them back recently and one of the pieces a bill hook was cut up to create a boat form and the off cut of the billhook( the ferrule part) I made into the body of this character. There was a cut out note in the pile from another ancient project and the pieces came together into this little character.
