I did one smaller than this but of a similar composition once before and called it bird house. This one really came together from odd bits I had lying on my bench and also from some claw forms that I had from breaking up old harrows. When we went to China people would bring their cage birds out to the park so that they could visit other birds at least by talking. I thought it a lovely idea.
