I did a bigger version of this design earlier this year and he went away before I had even gotten used to him. I had an old hedge trimmer in the pile and I used the blade for bird feathers but as I took apart the motor the idea of a small robot suggested itself. I learn something on each piece and I wasn’t sure that the metal was even weldable . There is an old Asimov story called little lost robot which I read years ago so I guess the title has stayed with me..
