I had the idea that I hadn�t done a lot of 3-d pieces so far this year. Some one delivered a hay rake from a tractor and I thought it would be perfect for a sun form but it would need a suitably big support. I pictured a large pyramid with this sun form at the top. It was taller than most of my other work with the pyramid being 3m and the sun adding another meter. It certainly got heavier as it progressed. When it was put in the paddock/garden it looked like a windmill� so I expect people wont even notice it as it will be a �familiar form�. It does reflect a bit on our governments policy of wind farms which seems to be at a standstill( like my windmill) but really it is just a nice form using interesting bits.
