I have always been impressed with Van Gogh and his use of paint strokes to define forms. Starry night is lovely and this has some inspiration from that. I also like the texture of rusted steel and these pieces from the collection seemed perfect for hills. The plasma cutting of the circles was inspired by a linocut artist and of course I had to do stars. Seems to work!
