I look for different flower shapes among illustrations and my garden. This one I hadn’t tried. I did a series of octagons for a project and found they were not needed. I then set about recycling the octagons into other geometric shapes that could be used as vases. It has been fun exploring the different patterns and textures that can be used to infil the sides and they certainly have been more time consuming than some of the simpler versions
