I spent nearly 2 days on making this head for a sculpture I was making called reading girl. When I put it on it was out of proportion and although it looked ok it was going to bother me. It took quite an effort to behead her again and the head became a bit battered in the process. In cleaning her up, cutting off her neck etc, she started to look more piratical or orc like. Hence I had a wonderful piece of wood as a mounting base and here he is .I do quite like all the different features I developed and he has the feel of a rapscallion ruffian.
