I periodically am given old tools like this wooden plane. It was in pretty battered condition including old borer holes ( bullet holes?) when it came to me and I decided to make it into a plane for flying ( although it won’t do that either). I do like words in our language that have multiple meanings and I am sure that this plane will be appreciated more in this form than it was in its original form.
