Ralph is my sons dog and we mind him from time to time. Like most Labradors he has got looking unloved and forgotten down to a fine art. He was sitting just outside the back door looking pathetic and I had to do a simple sketch of him which then became this piece. It doesn’t look quite as pathetic as he di but who could stand to have something of that Pathos looking at you every day.
