This one developed from having a piece of treated pine left over from moving a path into the gallery. I originally was going to have the girl just as a small piece but the idea of a tower appealed. As it still wasn’t tall enough I made a base to fit and incorporated shim both copper and aluminium in the wood area. On the back I tried out a technique I saw another sculptor do in Thailand( using an angle frinder to create texture on wood) The final piece appeals to me and again it has allowed me to experiment and try new ideas.
