I did a piece earlier in the year where a red ball was splitting apart a circular form. I liked the idea but thought a wedge would be even more appropriate. A piece of Russian art had been seen somewhere in my history so perhaps it had an effect too.. still I like to see some philosophical aspect to all my pieces and the idea of a wedge forcing a unity apart has all sorts of implications� and it looks good!
