I saw an illustration of a character running in the rain and I got the idea of using a piece of broken marble benchtop to be a cloud with wire raindrops. It worked out reasonable and I used recycled bike spokes for the rain. I would have liked the support for the rock to be a bit less visible but it would not quite oblige. I do remember walking home in the rain from school and it had its good points and bad points. To be out in the weather is quite invigorating if you are protected and I do still enjoy sitting on the verandah in a rain storm .
