I do a range of sketch ideas on the one page, usually from Instagram and sometimes the juxtaposition of images sets up a new possibility. I had a lovely bird sketch and there were some stars nearby and the two came together to create this piece. I did look up starbird and there is a star bird in Germany.I like mine better though!.
